Grace over grind
Grace Over Grind: One of My Intentions for 2025
As we step into a new year, one of my core intentions for 2025 is to embody the principle of Grace Over Grind. This isn’t just a catchy phrase or a momentary shift—it’s a deliberate, ongoing commitment to redefine my relationship with effort, productivity, and the way I navigate life. For me, this intention is both deeply personal and profoundly political, rooted in a desire to reclaim a softer, more intuitive way of being in a world that glorifies endless hustle.
What Grace Over Grind Means to Me
"Grace over grind" is about choosing alignment over exhaustion, ease over struggle, and presence over perfection. It’s a radical departure from the capitalist mindset that ties our worth to how hard we work or how much we achieve. Instead, it’s a call to trust the flow of life, to honour intuition, and to move with a sense of receptivity rather than resistance.
In practice, this doesn’t mean avoiding effort or challenges. Strength and resistance will arise—they’re part of life’s natural rhythms. But grace teaches us to meet those moments differently: with softness, curiosity, and a willingness to flow within and through them. It’s about finding ease and openness even as we face the demands of the world.
This intention is also deeply tied to the feminine energy within us all—the receptive, intuitive, and nurturing aspects of ourselves that have been undervalued in a society built on patriarchal constructs. Grace over grind is an act of resistance against those structures. It’s a reclamation of softness, a refusal to be worn down by the forces that demand we grind ourselves into exhaustion to prove our worth.
How This Shapes My Offerings
If you join me in any of my offerings this year, know that this intention will be woven into everything we do together. My hope is to create spaces where you feel free to trust your intuition over rigid instructions, your joy over judgment, and your presence over perfection. This is about stepping away from the “shoulds” and “musts” and toward a more spacious, aligned way of being.
You’re invited to honour your own rhythms, to approach your journey with curiosity, and to explore what grace means for you in each moment. There’s no “right” way to move through life, and my role is not to tell you how to do it but to hold space for your process.
Why This Matters
In a world that equates worth with productivity, choosing grace is an act of liberation. It’s a way of saying: I am enough, just as I am. It’s a reminder that the path and the goal are one and that everything we truly need already resides within us. By embracing grace, we free ourselves from the relentless grind of proving, achieving, and striving, and we step into a more authentic, joyful relationship with life.
Returning to This Intention
This isn’t a one-time decision or an easy switch to make. It’s a practice—a daily act of remembering and re-centering. There will be moments when the grind creeps back in, whispering that we’re not doing enough. But those are the moments to pause, to breathe, and to ask: What would grace look like right now? How can I meet this moment with softness, with trust, with ease?
An Invitation
As I hold this intention for myself, I invite you to explore it in your own life. What would grace over grind mean for you? How can you bring a sense of ease, flow, and receptivity to your daily life? Whether it’s letting go of perfectionism, softening in the face of resistance, or reclaiming time for rest and joy, know that you have permission to choose grace.
Here’s to a 2025 where we let go of the grind, embrace grace, and trust that the universe has our back.
Let’s move together with intention and care. 💛
